CRAWFISH VALLEY FORGE                 

Our Blacksmith shop and full time commercial beef cattle farm are situated in picturesque Crawfish Valley, just north of Rural Retreat, Virginia.

Having left the hustle and bustle of the Charlotte, North Carolina area a few years ago, these beautiful surroundings and slower lifestyle have been the inspiration to pursue my long time interest in blacksmithing and metalworking. Having spent over 20 years in the trucking industry as a mechanic,fabricator and welder it seemed only natural that my abilities and the cold winter months have led to this part time hobby and occupation in custom metal design and fabrication.

Our Business

My approach to Blacksmithing is both practical and artistic. The Blacksmith projects I have completed have been sturdy pieces that should last for generations. The combination of fire and steel can truly produce works of art. 

Who We Are

My teenage son assists me so that he may learn this unique craft of Blacksmithing as well. We work to provide our services at a reasonable cost to our customers with quality results. Thank you for considering us for your next unique metal project.
